Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about Sentinel — training records, QR-verifiable certificates and expiry tracking, with 9,000+ certificates managed in production.

How does certificate verification work?

Scan the QR code on the certificate — or type its serial number into the public verification portal — and get an instant VALID / EXPIRED / REVOKED answer. No login is needed. Verification resolves against the source record, which is what makes it forgery-resistant.

Can Sentinel import our existing records?

Yes — bulk CSV upload with a ready-made template brings the whole register in without retyping. The full register also exports back out to CSV at any time, and certificates download in bulk as ZIP.

What does Sentinel track for each certificate?

Recipient, company, trainer, course category, issue date and expiry date — a permanent record you can filter, search and export in seconds. Client companies and trainers are managed in one place.

How do expiry alerts work?

The expiry dashboard watches every certificate on rolling 30 / 60 / 90-day windows, and renewal reminders go to the companies that need to rebook — before a worker is turned away at a gate, not after.

Can we brand our certificates?

Yes — certificate templates support your logo, signature and layout, with a preview before anything is issued. Every certificate is generated automatically as a branded PDF with its own serial number and QR code.

Is there an audit trail?

Every action lands in a tamper-evident audit log with CSV export for inspections — so when an auditor asks who issued a certificate and when it was amended, there is an answer.

How big can it get?

Sentinel manages 9,000+ certificates in production — real records, real audits. That is the site's one proof point: no invented logos, no fake testimonials.

Can our team share access safely?

Yes — staff accounts with role-based permissions, global search across the register, and an onboarding wizard to get the team productive quickly.

How do we start?

Book a demo via the homepage — a working demo on your kind of data, not a slide deck. Bring the spreadsheet; bulk import swallows it whole. Billing is self-serve subscription.
